En 1986, j’ai réalisé les dessins pour ce clip de promotion du film LABYRINTH , film culte des années 80, avec DB et des marionnettes de Jim Henson. Les dessins ont été gravés sur pellicule noire 35 mm, une technique classique du cinéma d’animation expérimental.

In 1986, I created the animation for the song of David Bowie UNDERGROUND. It was the title song of the movie LABYRINTH, which has become a cult movie.

The drawings were engraved image by image onto 35mm black leader, no rotoscoping: all the drawings were done from imagination (just some photographs as models for the puppets, and for the portrait of DB at the beginning). I still have all the original drawings and when I show them, I tell the story of the making of...
